Leaving on a jet plane...

Well, folks, this is my last post from the States. Tonight's the night I finish packing. Tomorrow, it's cleaning and family time. And then, Monday morning, it's on with the show!

There's not much more to say, except that this week has been such a rush of emotion. I've laughed, I've cried, I've laughed so hard that I cried... but, I feel ready. I have no second thoughts about where I'm going or what I'm doing. No cold feet here. If anything, just a bit of melancholy (understatement of the century) that my friends and family will be so far away.

Oh! Before I forget, this is my address for my training period, which will last until the end of April. Please allow anything you send 2-3 weeks to reach me, and do not send me packages until further notice. Peace Corps don't play when it comes to that rule.

See you on the other side of the Atlantic!

  1. For the record, a postcard from the US to Morocco costs 94 cents :)
